Hi all,been following forums for quite a while and decided to log my case,to help others but also make me stick to deadlines! I've already recieved statements(no problems there,no charge either) I recieved them after going through the complaints department.This was done around the end of march. I sent the preliminary letter from the library giving them 14 days to respond but i didnt include the amount to be claimed. Recieved a letter dated the 19/04/06 stating sorry you had to blah blah.......we'll get back to you by the 16/05/06. Recieved letter dated 16/05/06...apologising for the delay we'll get back to you by the 14/06/06. Recieved letter dated 03/06/06...sorry to hear you feel our charges blah blah...terms and conditions blah blah....despite these comments they will pay me as a gesture of godwill (lol!) £980 towards the total cost i'm seeking(it was just under half the total i'm looking for of £2010 which i have never mentioned to barclays)I've got 8 weeks to respond,after which they will regard my case as resolved. After reading the contributions here and the fact that they've actually increased the fee's to £30,of which i've recieved 3 in the last month,i've decided not to accept this offer but unsure what to do next? Help please!
