It's already happening. members being moderated when they haven't broken site rules. A crap moderation policy, unfair application of the policy, no way of appeal. -
I hope so too. But I ain't holding my breath going on what has happened to them so far.

Neither. I came on because a mate has been moderated on here. He hasn't been treated very fairly, messages ignored, not given a reason why he was moderated. If banks treated someone the way CAG have treated him there would be lots of shouting and excitement and accusations, but it seems its ok for mods to treat him unfairly and ignore his messages. Very nice.

Thanks for the link, but it doesn't say a lot about the protocols used when putting a person on moderation,such as if you inform them of why, how long you put them on for, etc etc etc. Can any moderator expand on that? I'm just interested to find out if there is a policy of if it is an arbitrary decision by an individual moderator.

Hi, A quick hello, as suggested when you first join the site, and a query about how you moderate members here. From what I understand you can put a member on moderation, which means their messages get vetted. What are the protocols that are followed before a member is put on moderation? Many thanks, G
