  1. Hi Thanks for all the fast replys. I've called EON and I do appear to owe £637.27 as I was paying my bills quarterly. I was paying £79 a month DD so will check However I spoke to a chap who said I could just transfer the balance to my new account which I have done and I will pay it of that way. I mentioned the letter from the DCA and he said to ignore it now. I presume the DCA must get a list every month. So will see what happens with regard to the DCA now - it should now be sorted - I hope!!
  2. Wasn't expecting replies within a few minutes - brilliant! So are you saying to contact EON direct?
  3. Hi All, Aplologies if posting in wrong thread but so many on here its hard to follow some times. I've had loads of calls, texts and the odd letter from Capquest and now have a letter from SRJ Debt Recoveries asking for payment of £637.27 for an electricity bill I didn't pay with EON when I moved house. Now hands up and being a bloke I moved house and just forgot (stuck head in sand ect) and didn't pay the bill. I've had a tough 12 months, lost job etc, but now have new one and I could pay the debt off in one month so questions I'm asking 1. Do I phone EON and try and pay the bill it was around £337 12 months ago? 2. How did they get to £637.27? 3. Do i pay SRJ debt recovery in full/monthly - if I do is the end of it? 4. Credit Checks - Will be looking to move house within a year is my credit rating being ruined 5. If i don't pay what happens, I don't want balifs or to go to court? Many thanks in advance Ideally I just want to pay the money I OWE and get on with my life, its to short to and there are better things to think about Paul
