Hi I am trying to cancel my 12 month rolling contract virgin active membership. I used 5 months but froze it because I fell pregnant. I had a high risk pregnancy and then after I gave birth my gynecologist told me not to train for 6 months. Well within those 6 months I have moved home and their is not a virgin gym near me. I have asked to cancel but because I have 7 months remaining they are prepare to buy me out at 50%. Which means I have to pay £150. I am clearly not happy and want to write to someone higher in HO. Some help would be grateful.

I have received a Notice to Owner - saying a PCN was issued because of the following contravention: - Parked or loading/unloading in a restricted street where waiting, unloading/unloading restrictions were in force. I have never received a PCN and was not parked where they have stated. I was driving along when I saw a traffic warden place a ticket on a vehicle I knew, I was stopped at the traffic lights. I explained to the warden that the owners was just crossing the road, and this was unfair. The warden did not pay any attention to me and I drove off. Next thing I know, I receive a NOTICE TO OWNER LETTER - I was not even parked up, but standing at the traffic lights arguing with the warden. Do I have any grounds to appeal, does anyone have any advice for me or a template I can use?? I feel alittle agrieved that they could do this. :evil:

I received a parking ticket today - Exactly ten minutes after my ticket ran out. Can they do this, or are they supposed to wait a certain amount of time before producing a ticket? The ticket is a PCN and has all the relevant information. Does anyone have a template I can use? Your help would be great.

I sent a letter to The Woolwich requesting my charges back amounting to £260. I have received a letter from them today and they are disputing my letter, but as a gesture of goodwill they are willing to offer me £100 in full and final settlement. I do not want to accept this but want to pursue for the whole amount which has now risen to over £300. Can anyone help with what I need to write?

I cancelled my Norwich Union insurance policy when I still had a few months to go. I was sent a letter telling me that I owed them £45. I wrote a letter back asking them how they arrived at this figure. I received a letter this morning, stating that I owed them £15 for some cover I used and the remainder £35 is for admin charges. I am more than happy to pay the £15 for the cover used, however does anyone know of any templates that I can use to further challenge the £35. I do not think it is right to pay £35 for admin charges. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot find any threads on early redemption charges or release of deed charges. Natwest wants to charge me in excess of 200 to release my electronic deeds. Not sure how it amounts to this especially when I hold the deeds to the house. Can anyone help??
