Also, the bailiff (who I must add was very nice and helpful) said that I can contact Citizen's Advice to ask them if one of their people can sit in on the hearing, is that right because I know I would be very very nervous in front of the judge and I don't know if I would be able to put my case across right without bursting into tears.

Just a quick update, I have received an eviction notice this morning set for the 14th of October!!! I'm really in a panic now as I haven't heard anything back from the letter I sent to them on the 18th of September. What do I need to do now? Please please help!

Thanks Ell-enn, no we didn't attend the repossession hearing although now in hindsight I know we should have, but it was a case of us burying our heads in the sand. We now have a monthly income of around 1700 per month now that my partner has got a new job. After we have paid October's payment we will be setting up a monthly DD from a new bank account that we are setting up, purely for the mortgage payments. Will that stand us in good stead with the courts, should it get that far? Thanks again, scared79 xx

The thing that's scared me most is the letter they and their solicitors have sent saying they want the full amount of arrears which there is now way we could pay! scared79 xxx
