Hi I own a property which has been unoccupied & unfurnished for the last 2 years. My local Council havent been able to contact me for the outstanding Council Tax as I am mostly abroad. I received a letter today saying that because the baliffs havent been able to contact me, the Council are taking me to Court for Bankrupcy Action??? Does anyone know why or what this means???? I am not Bankrupt?? Can they declare me as such over an outstanding Council Tax bill???? Any help would be great. x

I would be grateful if someone could help. My grandparents bought their house 51 years ago but as my Nanna was under 21 she wasnt put on the mortgage. The mortgage was paid off years ago with only my Grandads name remaining on the deeds. Does anyone know how we can go about including my Nannas name on the deeds as well??? Also, the house has never been registered so they might as well do this also. Can someone please let me know the cost for doing the above and let me know if I can download any forms to do it online???? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
