  1. It's good to see someone beating the bank at their own game. Many congrats to you my friend.I'm at the stage of Lloyds solicitors having until 15th Jan to file their defence. I've been told by a few people who have won their claims that right before the final day, the bank has settled. Reading your posts, LloydsTSB are taking much longer than I'd hoped. Still I've got nothing to lose, they've hit me for £4500 in charges, so I'll wait and seek a full settlement.
  2. I'm not bragging when I say this, but I've been had for £4408.96 over the last six years. I did the info request, which they took 40days to do, and even then, it wasn't the full statements. What they did send was a print out of charges and fee's, so I was still able to tot up the money I've been stiffed for. They also sent me a photocopy of the abbreviations they use when coding the actions taken. No manual intervention at all. All automated. I then sent the first letter requesting refund, received their acknowledgement letter, and then received their get stuffed letter this morning. I'm now getting ready to send the next letter. Would it be prudent to mention the "Ellis test case"? If anyone out their has had a result with the LLoyds, can you tell me about your experience? Regards Wounded Dog
  3. Thanks mate, I know I'm new and don't know what to extect, but that's quick work. I'm offski to read how others have done. Thanks again. Wounded Dog
  4. Hi all, I'm new to this tinternet thing, where do I find the Lloyds TSB forum, is there a link somewhere? I've already done the request for info letter, the preliminary letter, and now have their get stuffed letter. I'd like to hear from other's who are going through the process, or have already beaten the git's. Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Regards Wounded Dog
