Hi everyone, My girlfriend has had some problems regarding buying festival tickets on ebay and I am hoping someone can give me some clear advice about what to do now and where we stand regarding our rights. Basically the tickets are for T in the Park, the seller had a good feedback percentage so she decided to go ahead and buy them. This was done using a cheque as she does not have a Paypal account. The seller was in contact until a few months ago and we have not heard from him since, his e-bay account is now saying no longer registered and we cannot get in contact with him. The festival starts tomorrow (we luckily managed to get our hands on tickets) and we are now looking to recieve our money back for them. So the facts are: - She paid by cheque - We have every piece of correspendance printed, since the sale was months ago the proper messages have been removed from ebay - I have a copy of his home address and 3 e-mail addresses he uses. Now in my opinion I was thinking that once the festival is over if I go to the police and report him first of all and then start a small courts claim against him, if anyone has any knowledge in this area could you please confirm if this would get me anywhere and any other information that I may find useful.
