  1. Thank you so much for the advice. May I ask another question? I did check my credit file at my new address in October and it was clear. How do I go about checking my old adress without linking the address to my new address and alerting the DCA's. I also checked the registry for CCj's at that time for both adresses and nothing was registered.
  2. Hi folks Can anybody help me with this issue. I have an old debt from the Halifax which was a credit card which i defaulted on in 2001. Heard nothing until sept this year when i recieved a letter from Tesera about the debt which went to my old address (not lived their for 5 years). As I know its Statute barred I have done nothing. Until when I recieved the letter from Arrow global/ tesera which I have scanned in for people to view. I am slightly worried as looking on the posts on here and else where I have heard that Arrow global try to get CCJ's on SB debts by default. So what I would like to know who now owns the debt very confusing letter and should i write to say SB? Can anybody help or should I ignore it? Attachement is below I believe
  3. Had a very old debt which had been placed with Aktiv the debt is at least 10 years old (for £2,000)and Aktiv write to me once or twice a year, which off course I ignore as the debt is statute barred. They have now placed it with Rossendales and so far I have recieved 2 letters in 2 weeks about the debt. What should I do? Should I send the statute barred letter? I checked for CCJ's on my credit file and there were none. However they could have dropped off after the 6 year period? So i do not know if i ever had a CCJ on this debt! Help needed if possible?
