  2. Can anyone help me please? I have a parking ticket, but not issued by the council, instead a private company called Euro Car Parks, for parking apparently in a Service Area. However the "Service Area" is at the back of a number of shops, and I was actually going inot one of these chops, and was only 4 minutes! When I got back I had been issued with a "Parking Charge Notice" - no mention of contravention in the title. 1. There was also no yellow lines to demarcate the service areA, just a sign on the wall on the other side of the area. 2. Also, the sign said that all people parking within the service area would have a £25 fine, whereas on the ticket it says £50. 3. He didn't fill in all the boxes on the ticket, such as time he observed my car, before issuing the ticket. 4. As all the properties back onto each other, there are no lines to show where one companies boundary ends and the "service area" starts Any help would be really appreciated thanks! Sarah
  3. Good morning, Is it possible to claim credit card charges back, and if so would I use the same templates, just changing bank account details for credit card details? Many thanks! Sarah:)
  4. Thanks dave. Just needed a little reassurance as I am very new to all of this
  5. Oh no, I am worried again now! Surely though legitimately they would be getting interest from both my loan and mortgage which far outways the cost of paying back my charges. My other worry is if they put a bad message in my credit rating - like a default, that could stop me from re-mortgaging or even getting another mobile phone. Can they put a bad refence on your credit rating for claiming back charges? Thanks!
  6. I have posted in a different thread, but thought that it may help if I posted my query too. I have a current account with A&L, and want to claim my charges back. On this current account I have a £800 overdraft. I also have a £5.5K personal loan with them and my mortgage. If they close my account or cancel my overdraft, can they ask for my personal loan and mortgage accounts to be closed too? I also don't want them to default me with regards to my credit rating. Could they do this if I claim back the charges on my current account? Any advice would be great, as I am a little scared!
  7. I am thinking of asking for my charges back, but also have an £800 overdraft on my account, a personal loan and have my mortgage with A&L - will it affect anything else other than my current account?
