  1. Thanks Helen,, thats a great helpUp to now I have only recd an allocation questionnaire asking me if there are any dates I cannot attend court etc which i have returned I will also send the offer of payment and my income and expenditureAlso, I have never recd a copy of the credit agreement from GE MoneyRegarding the charges. Ge Money have written back to me saying thet have credited the difference of the charges and the £ 12 to my account . I didnt even accept this offer. I then sent a LBA letter off this site but they have written back saying the original decision was final. Do you think I should pursue this and issue my own claim even though they have already issued a claim against meThanks again
  2. Thanks, thats a big help. I didnt realise you could still make an offer of payment direct to the Creditor once the Court claim had been sent. CL didnt even give me the chance to do this. They bought the debt fom GE Money and issued the claim immediately without even contacting me. When I make an offer of payment do I still deduct the charges from the total amount as I am still trying to reclaim the charges back from GE MoneyThanks again
  3. Hi, Im completely new to the site and I wish i had found this site earlier. I would be grateful if someone could give me some advice and I am really worried about a Court Claim I have receivedUnfortunately, due to personal problems I have had problems with a few of my Credit Cards & Store Cards over the past few yearsI have now brought most of my Cards up to date but one slipped through the net, a GE Money storecard (Debenhams) with a Balance of appx. £ 900 (50% of this Balance being charges going as far back as 2003)After falling into arrears, GE Money then transferred my Card to a Company CL Finance, who then without any warning issued me with a Court ClaimI have replied to the Claim Form saying I intend to defend the claim. I admitted half of the debt but the other half was charges and I was in the process of reclaiming them backIm worried now because I have received an Allocation Questionnaire to complete. Im not sure if I have to attach my full defence to this form or is this done later? and what is likely to happen next?In the last 7 days ,GE Money have offered me the difference of £ 12 and the charges I had incurred and they have credited this amount to my debt now with CL Finance without me even accepting this, but I have written back with the Letter Before Action requesting a full refund of the charges. They say in the letter that the amount offered is a gesture of goodwill. In a seperate letter I had also asked for a copy of my Original Credit Agreement but they have ignored this letter completelyAny help would be appreciatedThank You
