  1. thanks for that... the £12 has been removed (missed that ) i'm not sure what the £34.28 chg was for, but we removed advantage gold around 8 months earlier. we was, at that time, barred from using that current account as we had racked up around £600 unauthorised overdraft and had an agreement in place to reduce it by £120 per month (taken from our step account). that £34.28 was last charge on that account, other than interest and was £40 prior to that. i seem to recall my partner saying we was going to be charged an "arrangement fee" or something for setting an agreement to prevent any further £40 charges, though we would still be paying interest. but again i'm not to sure :-? thanks
  2. hi, just after a some advice on a few things that i'm unsure about regarding my bank charges reclaim. on the initial letter it says for the further £XXX do i put the amount from the spreadsheet (interest 8% APR) column, and for the Total £XXXXX put the whole amount including the 8% interest... but not include the 8% on my initial schedule of charges spreadsheet print off? hope that makes sense!! also on my statments, some charges only include the date / account number on the info part... will the info on my schedule be sufficient? all advice appreciated
  3. yes they are reliable (the cards). i used memorybits (uk) for my own and would recommend as a supplier... though their are many other uk sellers
  4. thanks for your response I’m not entirely sure how long it’s been since I last acknowledged my debts, but would guess between 5 – 7 years. I did at the time contact my creditor, several times, to make offers to repay my debts (natwest currents account £2500 overdrawn and Barclaycard £1500) but they repeatedly refused to accept the repayment terms I was offering, and the phone calls ended. I have since received about one threatening letter a year from different debt collectors regarding them but no visits, ccjs, etc. I never replied to any of the letters I’m presuming that they can still confirm my address as I have a CCJ (£2000) from June 2002 that I pay religiously against my name / address… i'm currently thinking about checking my credit file to see what info it still holds!
  5. hi all, i'm looking for advice on what would be classed as contact in relation to the above. would a letter be classsed as contact or do they have to speak to you personally? thanks in advance mr.me
