  1. It's an overdraft on an account not used for about 2 years. I tried to pay it back then in instalments but they said it had gone to another department and I'd have to call them but I asked if they could call me as I only have a mobile and it costs, they said they could not so here I am.
  2. Hello, after repeated attempts by Moorcroft Lloyds have now contacted me themselves asking for me to fill in a 'Current Information Questionnaire' giving details of income and outgoings etc or pay in full within ten days. I had no problem ignoring Moorcroft but is it pointless ignoring Lloyds? Should I fill in this 'Questionnaire'? Hope someone is able to advise. Thanks.
  3. thanks all, so this letter is just a kind of scare thing and i should ignore it even though i remember i do have such an overdraught from a long disused lloyds account? should i not attempt to gradually pay back lloyds at least? am i being naive? thanks.
  4. Hi all, i've just received a letter from Moorcroft regarding £500 i owe Lloyds TSB. I tried to make payments about a year ago to Lloyds in one of their branches but was told they couldn't help me as the matter had been passed on to collections. they couldn't even ask collections to call me so i could pay them. now Moorcroft are asking for payment in full within 7 days, or for me to call them. any ideas what i should do? can i still just pay installments to Lloyds? thanks guys...
  5. I have today received a letter from UK DEFAULT RECOVERY, I assume this is connected to SBI? It states I have a debt of £1341.72 but does not say anything of its origins. Should I really ignore this, what happens next? There is an email address, should I ask what this is about? Thanks.
  6. Hmmm, do you really think I should send that or are you just kidding? I can't tell.
  7. I have just this morning recieved a letter from SBI... "The Occupier [address] Dear Sir/Madam, [my name] - [old address of about 4 years ago] Our ref: ********* I am trying to contact the person named above about a personal matter. If you are this person, or can provide information on where they can be contacted, please telephone me in strictest confidence on 0870 085 7423. Thank you for your help. Yours faithfully, Carly Black." Now, I remember my flatmate stopped paying rent and council tax at that address then we started paying back the debt just before we moved out but then we both moved out before it was paid in full. If I ignore this will anything happen? I've been made redundant and can no way afford this.
