  1. Just a quick update Tmobile have rang me, and a solution was agreed. So alls now sorted
  2. I have two phones on one account, last December 2011, i upgraded one of the phones. The customer service person, after dealing with the upgrade said, " If you ring back in April 2012, we'll be able to upgrade your other phone". I told him the contract didn't finsh until October, but he said they can still do it under a Loyalty bonus. Now Tmobile have said, they are not prepared to do the upgrade. How do i stand.
  3. Seeing as they keep putting charges on i'll send letter thanks
  4. This is the problem, I DO owe them, and got the goods, a Tv and surround system. I can't just say that i DON'T owe them surely.
  5. OK then, I've had a phone call from NDR, yes Littlewoods, because of failed payments. I've told them my situation, so what do YOU LOT suggest i say, or write to them.
  6. Aren't you just going round the the houses here.."on extremely rare occasions that they initiate court action", ALL debt collectors eventually take court action, I know i 've been through this.YES with people such as yourselves, giving all this info on how to fight them. In the end it's not worth the hassle, if you owe the money, then it's has to be paid, unless they write it off, I,m now disabled, and only have benefits coming in, BUT I STILL HAVE TO PAY MY £1 per month. creditors are not willing just to write debt off. One debt i had was just under 6 years old, but they ended up starting to chase me for that, and yes, i disputed it, that i hadn't paid anything to it it the time period, but i still got my COURT APPEARANCE LETTER , and it was ADDED on to the rest.
  7. Well WHAT does the DCA do if your NOT willing to pay a debt, or you only offer £1 per month? which they are not willing to accept
  8. If you KNOW you owe the money, and nothing to hide, why WAIT to go to court, where it all has to come out in the end. Plus all the court charges added on. So why wait, when sending a simple I&E will settle it all.
  9. Have a read Joe Longthorne fined in court - Blackpool Today This was for NOT giving financial information to the Department of Work and Pensions. The COURT wasn't involved at this stage.
  10. Well said Diddydicky. That's the whole point of sending a I & E disclosure, to PROVE you have no disposable income, otherwise, as you say the COURTS WILL come down heavy, VERY HEAVY on people who are NOT willing to pay their debt. Sending I & E disclosures is a way of proof that you have fallen on bad times, and your finances are stretched to the limit. Your home comes first, so paying rent, or mortgages, council tax, utility bills, food, etc are PRIORITY, Debt is last to be paid off. NOBODY GETS SENT TO JAIL FOR DEBT, PERIOD. Courts are the LAST RESORT for debt payment, if your not willing to prove I & E. If you've NOTHING to hide, WHY LIE. Oh cerberusalert CAB are not wrong, it was all done with a LEGAL DEBT ADVISER PRESENT.
  11. That's your opinion, and welcome to it. They sorted my debt out, and sent income/expenditure when asked. Now paying what I can afford, and not what DEBT COLLECTORS SAY TO PAY
  12. Go to a citizen advice centre, THEY told me what to do, and I'm 25,000 in debt. AND NO it's not just the courts. I've been there ,done that ,so i KNOW what i'm saying. Have a read here, http://www.oldham.gov.uk/ocfs-acs-wr2s.pdf
  13. This is typical of NDR (Littlewoods) By law they can't refuse. you need to send them a "Income/Expenditure" of your finances.
  14. Littlewoods Catalogue have been charging me £10 for missed payment, even though i contacted them. As I'm on disability benefit, i got behind with repayments for goods i had received. After contacting them, to ask for an extended repayment program, i missed a payment due to an error with my benefit not going into bank on the date it was due. they charged me £10 for a missed payment, then 7 days later charged me again.is this excessive, if so, can you point me in the right direction to reclaim all admin charges from this robbing company.
