I have been going round in circles to try to post a question, so don't know whether I'm in the right place!! I'm a new member. We're in the process of having our house put back together since it has had a subsidence problem. We used to have floorboards (covered with carpet) with a gap underneath, but that has now been replaced with a solid concrete floor. The loss adjustors are considering whether our carpet is going to be relaid downstairs but I think that is unlikely, but won't consider wood flooring. Does anyone know what the norm is for things like this - we would really like a wooden floor.
