Hello there I hope everyone is happy and coping well with the stress of the bank charge nightmare. My question is does anyone have any legal terms I can put in my next letter to Lloyds regarding financial hardship. I'm really suffering from this and as I understand Lloyds are prepared to refund charges now rather than waiting for the conclusion of the test case if one is experiencing these. Thanks again.

Hello peeps What a fantastic site, sooo much information available. I first contacted Lloyds Tsb a year ago to get copies of my bank statements to start the process of reclaiming bank charges. They kept delaying my requests which resulted in my claim being calculated and sent after the deadline last year for refunding charges. They are now telling me I have to wait until the current court procedings have come to a conclusion. I have sent roughly ten letters of complaint, all roughly telling me the same thing - wait. I have received one letter recently though saying they will credit my account with a refund of £398.68 a gesture of goodwill. It then goes to say if we cannot come to an agreement they will provide me with the FOS details so they can consider my complaint independently. Does this mean Lloyds are open to negotiation or am I simply being told to wait again. There is much more to this case that I haven't included. I can provide this information if needed. Many, many thanks:-)
