Thanks for the speedy reply! I was thinking about calling them from a public phone box and doing a little phishing myself to find out what the debt is about... suppose I'll leave it and see how much they harass my neighbours first. Cheers

I know this is an old thread but I just found it through Google as I've just received a note throught my letterbox saying call 02077932684... as far as I'm aware I don't owe anyone any money, good credit rating and all that but this has gotten me concerned! Should I call trading standards and complain following what you've all said about the tactics or should I try and find out what the debt is or whether it's for the previous owners of the house (although I've been here for over 2 years now)? Thoughts/Comments...
