  3. its been a while since an update. I put my claim in to the courts, and today I received a letter stating TSB have filed a defence, and I have to fill in an Allocation questionnaire.. I plan to fill this in on Sunday, so if any one has any tips for me, please forward them on. Cheers BTW - my claim is in total with charges £1600....

  5. UPDATE - Today I recieved my letter thanking me for getting in touch and sorry we cant repay your charges, and this is our final answer letter. If you dont like it please contact the Financial Ombudsman Service,, blah blah blah within 6 months
  6. I received an email from TSB, asking me to send my list of charges, for them to send me another saying they had found them in my email..... Also, today, I recieved a standard letter. basically saying.. sorry your unhappy, someone will look into it, here is a leaftlet called "How to voice your concerns", well I think this web site, is doing that already...
  7. UPDATE - Today I have emailed my request for repayment of charges, to contact.us@Lloyds TSB.co.uk. I estimated total charges to be £830, over 2 accounts. Its in their hands now. I have to admit, this has made me very nervous, I have never tried to take on a big company before. Thanks to all you have spoken to me, and keep up the good work. I promise to keep you updated, regardless of how trivial the details may sound.
  8. sorry about dropping from the face of the earth.. loads of things happening as this took a back burner I have created my letter to send to Lloyds TSB, asking for my money back, but which address do I use.. local branch? or somewhere specific This site is vast with helpful info, but I can refind addresses like I once did.
  9. good point, and actually made something clear to me.. thanks I might miss out the interest bit....im grey enough without tipping myself over the edge working that out... but i will not forget the 8% when the time comes. Many thanks again.
  10. cheers mario, ill check it out now
  11. Righto, Im lost, so far if I have managed to use a template letter from this site to ask for my bank details via Data Protection Act, so far they have sent what I asked for. I have calculated £830 without interest. I am stuck with the next stage, I really wish to calculate the interest part before I ask for it, but I am having a major problem understanding what to do. Can someone be nice enough to help me, sort out my dilema? Thanks
