Hi all. I have just recieved a letter from Moorcroft Debt Recovery Ltd (Per-Court Division) acting on Powergen's behalf demanding a full payment of an outstanding amount. I moved house in June. My final bill to Powergen was £216 and due to a problem with cash flow still owe £104.00. I have paid 2 of 4 installments by agreement. Problem is that both payments were about 10 days late due to my on-going cash flow crisis!! I am at pressent up to date with the payments. Problem is that I recieved this telling me that if I hadn't got in touch with them by 26th Dec they will take further legal preceedings. I did get in touch with them today and told them that my account is up to date at this moment in time. They have insisted that if payment is not made in full in six days then court action will be taken and court costs will be incured. Ive told them that full payment by this time is not possible but I can only pay the agreed amount by the agreed time. Because I have made efforts to pay this bill off (altough late) Can they inforce what they are saying? & what can I do? Many thanks
