Thanks for letter on PM. Am on my way down council in a min hope they are open.

I tryed to PM tomtubby as you said regarding the levy upon my car that has already been levied by B&S. Not accepting PM.

I signed nothing they saw me come out of my address in 2007 and get into my car, when i got home later there was a letter with my car details saying levied and a bailiffs number to ring he was vey unreasonable so i went to council they phoned them and made the arragement i am paying now. I just checked Phonex website and am confused as to wheather they are baillifs or not could you check if possible. I will pay council but i am scared what Phonix will do

its for council Tax 2008/9 from my local council. They wont accept £80 so sure they will reject £1

There is another letter from phoenix saying they need to visit me to assess my ability to pay and discuss a pre payment plan. They ask for my telephone number so they can make an appt. to come and see me. They also so they can only accept payments arrangments over a period of twelve weeks. Still looking for paperwork

Hi, the paperwork i have from Phoenix just tells me how much i owe to who and different methods of payment. It says after 7 days they will send round bailiffs when i rung they said wait for a bailiff to come round because i said i could not pay the amount they want every month i asked them to reduce so i could pay they did not want to know. B&S is a different issue i am paying them every month for previous council tax. I will finish that debt in May 2009. I am now looking for the paperwork that you mentioned. Thank you

2009 is my year to sort out problems. I work and have children who are not at home and two at home 16 and 12 and an older son who works pat time. Im sure others experiencing now and in future money problems due to credit crunch. I am going down the council tomorrow hope they are open. I want to pay the debt just struggle to make ends meet. Thanks for your advice. Sorry to ask again but should i pay council?

The debt they are after is for last year council tax, i am paying other bailiffs for previous year too seperate issuse. I have kept up to date with other bailiffs, just dealing with 2008/09 council tax sorry if i never explaned properly. Car wont move no alternator shes an old car couldnt even give away

When i phoned them they told me to wait for a bailiff to come round and on there phone options they say about bailiffs. Are you sure they are not bailiffs? I have just looked at there letter they sent me and it says they have been appointed as Certificated Bailiffs by the above named Local Authority. Good to know they cant take my car(even though brokendown). I stupidly sent one payment to try to hold them off until council opens up after New Year will that be a problem?

Hello Everyone I am paying Bristow & Sutor every month regarding my Council Tax from year before i am up to date only having problems in the begining asking for high silly repayments, council rung them and negotiated they levied my car I have got behind on Council Tax again and am struggling. I have received a letter from Phoenix Commercial Collection i phoned trying to come to an agreement but they want £235 monthly which i cannot afford. They told me to make token payments until a bailiff calls. They have not been round yet still waiting. I previously tryed to get council to take back account they wouldnt. Im waiting for them to turn up do i pay them or council? Can Phonix Commercial Collection take my car as it has been levied by Bristow & sutor already.

Was in touch with bailiffs today by email they want £824 by the 31/12/07 and next month £825 after i told them i work part time. I have lost my car for sure.

What does WPA mean. I have signed nothing i have only seen bailiffs while driving off thats when they took my car details.

Tomtubby I rang bailiffs today had to hold line for 30mins was cut off, rang again to be cut off again after listening to options. Had to go back to work that was my lunch break. Should I email them to request information. Im confused now do i just give them car keys i use my car to get to diffferent child nurserys as i am covering for people who are ill or on holiday sometimes at short notice.
