  1. Your right my dealing has not been directly with Birmingham council there rejection to my appeal was sent to Northampton county court . On going through my emails from Northampton county court they informed me they would stop baliff action from April 1st until my appeal was heard (rejected by BCC) and then a decision from a court officer (not received yet ) However Equita say they have no record of this from BCC or Northampton county court and that Baliff action was first issued in March and they passed it to there baliff as march to july was enough time for me to contact them . They say BCC would have contacted them if there actions were to be suspended but they have not so they are carrying on . However I have the email from northampton county court stating it would be from April 1st If I wake up tomorrow and my car is clamped and this guy is demanding a huge fee where do I stand then ??
  2. I know I've probably left this late but any help would be gratefully received , I had a car parking fine from Birmingham city council and it went to court , I emailed my grounds of appeal but they never received this so birmingham council passed it on to a baliff company equita. I contacted northampton county court to explain I had emailed them on time but they said I would have to put in another extension of time and then my appeal , this was rejected by birmingham council as they believe I only got in contact with them after equita got in contact with me although I can prove otherwise . So I did not know who to appeal to , equita sent another letter saying pay up, it did not give me a set amount of time to pay so I rang them today to pay and thought I could try appealing for it back but better to pay it to stop any further costs . On ringinig they had passed it on to there operative Mark hudson(i think) I rang him he said to call him tomorrow , my biggest worry is that equita are now saying this guy will add his own charges on but they wont tell me how much( apprantly they cannot discuss fee's over the phone) I want to pay the original £90 but now I'm fearing the worse that this guy is gonna try sticking loads more fee's on top which I cannot afford and feel I should not have to pay due to Northamptons county court not receiving my appeal the first time round which I can still prove by email as I cc it to several address to make sure the attachments were attached . Any help on what I should be saying to this guy tomorrow ????? Thanks if anyone can , I dreading I'll wake up tomorrow and my car will b clamped
  3. Just a quick one had a phone call the other day for my partner from Npower trying to sell there products , when I asked how they aquired the number as it was a brand new number due to the amount of telesales before they said it was because she was an old customer and ended the conversation , however as we had not been a customer for 3 years and at a totally new address I emailed them to find out who they aquired it off , I got a email saying the electoral roll , my current energy supplier and third party companies is who they use for aquiring peoples telephone numbers , however I emailed them to tell me who did and have so far just been ignored . Do I have the right to find out who passed my information on to them as I want to make sure I dont have to change my number again . Any tips ?????????
