  1. Hi - I am back again I am afraid. I did receive an offer from Corbetts on behalf of Mint, which I could not accept as it was below what I had asked for. I sent them the standard letter, accepting the offer as a PART offer, but that the full amount was required as per my original request. It's been at least 10 days since that letter was sent and still no reply.. it's now well past the 28 days deadline following my lodging the claim with the small claims court (7th October). Should I let the court know that I have not been satisfied with the response so they are ordered to pay? thanks GMoney
  2. Hi I am claiming £500 from HSBC in unfair credit card charges, and have initiated small claims court proceedings. They came back with their OFT test case staying tactic, and I replied to the court to let them know that I did not accept this tactic since it only applied to bank charges, not CC charges. They have now come back with a letter transferring my claim from Northampton county court to a court closer to mine for that court to deal with my application to lift the stay. It also adds that no fee is payable. I assume that this is standard proceeding, and I am now to await the decision of my court's judge as to whether the stay can be lifted or not? thanks in advance!
  3. thanks - I still wonder whether I should send back my AQ or not now that they are making an offer? they certainly have. Will move thread as suggested.
  4. Hi I have recently posted a thread here: http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/halifax-bank-bank-scotland/119874-gmoney-rbs-mint.html But was told it would better sit here. I am claiming £700 against Mint, have gone through filing with small claims court, they have come back or rather Cobbetts have come back with the usual intimidation tactics using CPR part 18 which I have rejected and they have now made an offer of £500. I am going to reject it using one of the useful letters on this site. I have not yet returned my AQ, although Cobbetts have, mine is not due until 18th Nov. Should I return it even though they are now making an offer? is it worth it? thanks
  5. Hi - new here but was part of moneysaving expert, sorry if this is not the right place. Have been relying on forums for my fight against Mint and so far so good. Took them to small claims court and got the usual CPR part 18 request from them, following a strongly worded reply I know have an offer of 500 quid, although I am claiming for 800. Should I settle? If not, what is my possible next step??? Go back and say that I am claiming 80 of unlawful charges and expect a full payment (includes interest)? ta
