approx 3 Years ago I purchased a bathroom suite from B&Q, nothing cheap high end Cooke and Lewis, It is a concealed suite and has High Gloss white panels for doors and hidden Cistern etc. All but one of the panels have now turned yellow making it look unsightly, I complained to B&Q and got the following response. Im not really sure where to take this now but I would have expected the suite to have lasted longer than this, surely I have some rights to get this replaced. I am sorry to see the issues experienced with your bathroom furniture and can appreciate the comments you have made in this regard. However, I must advise that after a period of ownership of 6 months, the onus lies with the customer to prove to the retailer that this discolouration has happened as the result of a manufacturing fault. I would refer you to the Sale of Goods Act website for guidance on this. If the fault is proved, then a report detailing this, along with your proof of purchase should be submitted to B&Q for consideration.
