Hi,Many years back I was repossessed by my lender in the early 1990's.The value of the house fell below the mortgage,I was in arrears and did the sensible thing and put it up for sale.The mortgage was about £62,000,I received a firm offer for £44,000,have this in writing from my solicitor still and estate agent too.The Building Society refused the offer and a year later they let me run up more arrears and repoed me in 1992.They auctioned my house and it sold for £30,000. They then chased me hard for about 7 years,I didnt have much but paid them back about £4,000.I lost so much at the time,it was hugely traumatic for me,my world collapsed. Did they act unlawfully? I did the responsible thing and managed to sell the house.Have there been any court cases where the lenders have been found to have acted incorrectly in similar cases? I still feel bitter to this day and would like to make some sort of claim against them. Many thanks in advance:smile:

BUSINESS ACCOUNT RECLAIM,HELP PLEASE? Ive put in a claim to my bank for around £4ks worth of old charges.They offered me around £2k to which I refused and said I wanted the whole lot repaid.Now they've thrown it back to the court and have had a "stay" granted by the judge.Now I feel sick,depressed,drained and just so terrible about the whole thing.I paid money for the claim,did all the paperwork to no avail.Can anyone give me any help or advice on what to do next?
