I sent off the initial letter (from the BAG library) to A&L on 7th February demanding that they refund all my charges for the last 6 years etc. Exactly 7 days later (14th Feburary - my only Valentine ) I received a reply that said: ______________ ________________ Hmm.... let's see how we go from here. I'm not letting this one go. Just one question: Should I start legal proceedings now, or wait until they get back to me? I will, of course, keep you all posted. PJ..xx

Thank you for taking the time to highlight your concerns, we are currently looking into the situation and will be writing to you with a more detailed response. In the meantime, I am enclosing a leaflet which explains the steps we will take to handle your complaint.     Stephen on LBC

    Just a quick note to say HI... as I'm new here and to say thanks to Stephen (and the James O'Brien Show on LBC 97.3 yesterday morning) for helping me find out about this site and my rights when it comes to unfair bank charges, of which I have been a victim on almost a monthly basis. Well done Stephen (and the rest of you). Keep up the good work. A letter to my bank (Alliance and Leicester PLC) was posted off today. I'll keep you informed of any progress. PJ x
