patboyslim replied to patboyslim's topic in Private Land Parking Enforcement
Yes I know its obbstuction, but the issued ticket says she committed an offence in simpson street, she was never in simpson street ! -
My Wife parked her car half on/off pavement (no single/double yellows ) on a dropped kerb,Officer on a mountain bike could'nt ride past so issued a Penalty notice 151 unnecessary obstruction(he should'nt of been riding on the pavement !)to 6 cars. On the ticket he has written the wrong street,he has wrote Simpson street, but its not ! its McKean street (the road changes from simpson street !). Is this an invalid ticket ?

I got my statements from the internet and added all the charges (returned DD and excess overdraft fee's)up from the past 6 years which came to £3904.Just after that they closed my account ! I read somewhere on this site that the most they can charge is £125 a month, not true ! My wife who will be starting proceedings next was charged £320 in one month ! they said the charges for returned direct debits is unlimited !

After being charged by HSBC for years I decided to write to the bank asking for charges to be returned using one of the many templates available(BBC watchdog). After 14 days no respone so I went to birmingham County Court and started proceedings and I've receided a notice that acknowledgemenf of service has been filed. The acknowledgement was filed by DG solicitors. What should I do next and what is likely to happen ? Any advice would be helpfull !

Hi all. just A quick story. We had a council Tax Bailiff visit us in May last year.We offerd to pay via 5 installments which was refused unless we had special cercumstances,e.g redundency etc (which I just had been made and was on garden leave) and my wife was 5 months pregnant ! but the criteria suddenly changed and we were told we had 3 months to pay the full amount which we explained we couldnt do.he then preceeded to write the registration of my wifes car down and said a Levy had been put on it of £50 which we still had to pay despite paying the full amout out of my redundency money.
