Hi, Cardiff County Court has stayed my case. In a ' Bank Charges Letter ' attached to the Order ... the Designated Civil Judge for Wales " is anxious that parties to individual claims in Wales are not put to unnecessary costs until the outcome of the Commercial Court litigation is known." This would seem to indicate a stay for all cases in Wales:confused:

Thanks Beckieboo I'll give them a ring.

Hi, I received this order from Cardiff CC. The order said that " The parties may appear in person or make written representations as to how the case should proceeed, provided a copy of the representations is sent to the Court and the other side at least 7 working days prior to the hearing" No mention is made of whether an AQ is to be used or not and no mention of fees. Do I write to request the Court use CAG's new directions yet or wait for the court to contact me?

Hi, Just starting to put my court bundle together. My claims run from 18/08/2001 to 19/03/2007. Does anyone have the A&L T&C's for these dates please. I've tried downloading from the Document Library but can't open the encryption!

Hi, Just received a Notice of Transfer of proceedings and an Order that an allocation questionnaire is dispensed with. Do I now go ahead with issuing the 'New draft order' as per 'New Strategy for AQ' in GaryH's thread? And work the 'Passage for section G/H' into an accompanying letter?

Hi, This is my first posting. I began reclaiming bank charges via info on Moneysavingexpert.com. 09.05.07 - sent first letter to A&L listing charges of £743.50 which was rejected. 21.05.07 - threatened court claim - A&L offered £35.00 - which I rejected! 18.06.07 - MCOL claim issued and 8% interest claimed. 21.06.07 - A&L offered the £35.00 again and £80.00 court fee. 22.06.07 - Wragge & Co intention to defend. 29.06.07 - Wragge & Co served what appears to be a standard defence. From reading many informative threads I wonder if I should have claimed at the contractual rate of interest. Can I still do this or am I too far in to the process. If I can change what is the procedure and what calculator do I use?
