  1. i just thought it makes no difference what the offer is thats all they will release, total blonde day!! and yes it will help the girl i spoke to said she will order a statement for the extra charges but ill prob put it in writing as well i think thanks!!
  2. ok so I spoke to a woman today who said that they have offered me 1866 (I am claiming 3000) but this will be paid into my old account which is now inactive. I have debt with natwest which i am paying through my debt management plan, they said they will release 850 of this in cash for my priority debts and the rest will go towards my debt. i thought the account was closed, turns out it wasnt and that they added £1000 of charges to it when i stopped using it, they want the other money from the offer towards this. any suggestions?? should i reject the offer (its about 65%) or take this cash and run? I have claims in court as well which there has been no mention of. im also annoyed about the £1000 of charges they added, but I have no statements etc to try and claim these too, should I put in a letter requesting that these be wiped? any help as always appreciated
  3. Hi I need some help please!!! I have received a reply from natwest (within a week?!) which says that my hardship claim has been accepted and that they will be in touch with an offer towards the end of this week. I havent used the account I had with them for at least three years now, the letter said the money would be paid into my account which will probably be milllions of pounds overdrawn by now, if its still active, which they seem to think it is. has anyone ever heard of them paying by cheque or into another account? any reply greatly appreciated
  4. i am sending the completed stuff off tomorrow, thanks for your comments I will keep posting if I get any further!
  5. ah right, no I havent, I stopped using the account as the charges they were applying were too costly, got another basic account which is frequently overdrawn though and the hardship began with those charges? maybe they will make me an offer?
  6. no, I stopped using it about 3 years ago, I have about 3000 in charges with 8% interest included, it is in court in two claims though? with 28% interest, not sure how it will affect this? I am also on a dmp
  7. I have arrears with all of the above and evidence to prove this, they are not being paid off by arrangement at present, although I will have to make one soon!! my claims go back to 2001.
  8. I have decided to go with the 8% then if anything comes of the test case they might consider the differendce with the claims in court?
  9. Hi all Im just starting a hardship claim and have a few questions: I have received my customer financial statement from natwest which i have completed and am about to send back with evidence to support it. I put my two claims into court, they were then stayed. I applied the rate of 29.69% to the one claim which totalled over 5000 so I split it into two. Should I only apply a rate of 8% to this hardship case? or continue to ask for the two claims so it matches the ones in court? any help greatly appreciated.
