  1. I received a letter from Barclays Bank, on 12th July, offering me a goodwill payment in full settlement of my claim. I decided to accept this offer and sent back the completed form on the 15th July. My question is, does the bank still have to honour this agreement or can they put it on hold even though the court case regarding bank charges was started after this agreement? Please advise me as I don't know if I will see a payment now. Thanks, Jimbob16
  2. My son received a water bill for his rented flat from Three valleys Water covering water costs from 31/12/02 to 31.03.07. for a total of £843.26. He is, unfortunately, dyslexic and has been trying to sort this by telephone and the customer services are not that helpful. He was unaware he was responsible for water bills as his flat has an electricity meter. He just assumed as he never saw any bills it was in with the rent. Neither he, nor his landlord have previously received any bills for this period. Now, he received this bill a few weeks ago and obviously queried why he had not received one before. No answer, just demand for payment. Despite numerous telephone calls they will not help and have now placed the debt with Inter-credit International Ltd who are demanding payment and have now notified a 'Supply of Water Review' will take place. My question is, Can they ask for all this payment for such a long period when he has never had a previous bill? Thanks for any help, he is worried sick.
