  1. Thanks to lop for the advice and will get the prove it letter in the post tomorrow using signed for. It's very difficult to sort anything out with these people when my own letters get ignored. I suppose they are wanting me to phone them which I have no intention of doing. Thanks Soozisioux
  2. Hi as far as I am aware they don't know where I work and I don't own my own house anyway. Thanks Soozisiouox
  3. Hi, the only correspondence I have had is three letters from dlc basically saying pay up or else. I presume they are servicing it for Orange. They are now threatening me with Solicitors and a visit. It annoys me that they ignore my letters. I have asked them what the debt is for but it has fallen on deaf ears. I did have Orange broadband at my old address but as they couldn't transfer their service to my new address I had to cancel it. I rang them a month before and I was told to ring on the day I was moving to cancel the service as it would be done immediately which is what I did. I haven't heard anything from Orange since and I did give them my new address. Hope this helps a bit.
  4. Hi could do with some help please. Received a letter from dlc staying I owe Orange money. Sent a request fror CCA recorded delivered. This was received and signed by them. Received another letter from them, ignoring mine and threatening again. Sent a non-conformist letter recorded delivery which they received and signed for. Again this letter was ignored and I today received another from them stating that as I had iignored their letters they were passing the matter to a Solicitor and sending a debt collector round. I asked them what the debt is for but they have not answered that. Where do I go next please? Thank you Soozisioux
  5. Well I suppose that's not suprising. I haven't had any dealings with Phoenix Recoveries so I'm not sure.
  6. Have just been reading another link re the above by Continuity Girl who advised anyone dealing with this lot to contact Consumer Direct which I have just done. I explained everything I had found out and they were extremely interested. Especially as they appear to be flouting Data Protection Regulations. The lady I spoke to was most interested in the "offshore" side of the dealings. She took as many details as I had as is contacting Trading Standards on my behalf. I was advised to write back and deny any debt and tell them to stop contacting me and that any further communications would be reported to the information commissioner. Well worth the phone call and very satisfying too. Will keep you updated of any further events. Cheers Soozisioux:p:p
  7. Hi Will do, and I'll report this lot to as many authorites as I can. It's bad enough being harassed for debt as it is, without this devious bunch harassing and threatening for money that isn't owed. Cheers Soozisioux
  8. It's ok I've no intention of phoning this number. But I wonder about the whole legality of this set up and what Trading Standards etc., would make of this. How can they threatening people with debts that don't exist when TTISPC claim to be in Nottingham and are actually in Grand Cayman. Cheers Soozisioux
  9. Hi, I've been having a look round the net and found a bit more out about TTISPC - they seem rather secretive! TTISPC has a one-page website at www.ttispc.com - advertising their services. They buy debt from banks and other companies (doubtless at a huge discount) and derive their revenue stream from collecting these debts. (As mentioned by PGH7447) There is a problem with the way TTISPC holds itself out as a UK business (it shows a Nottingham PO Box on its website). If you trade in the UK you are required to show what type of business entity you are - eg plc, Ltd Co, partnership, sole trader etc. TTISPC does not do this on its website. whois.domaintools.com/ttispc.com shows the website is registered in Grand Cayman (not well-known for its business transparency!) and hides the registrant details through Direct Privacy Ltd (www.directnicprivacy.com). There is a phone number (1-345-745-6022), though this will only get you through to Direct Privacy Ltd. TTISPC.COM was registered at 123-REG.CO.UK on 09/18/2008. TTISPC may have a reason for remaining incognito - I wonder what it could be?! Cheers Soozisioux:)
  10. Thanks for that. I am not with British Gas, I changed three years ago to a different utility supplier. All bills were paid completely up to date and I would have thought that if I owed British Gas any money they would have been harassing me themselves immediately, not leaving it years down the line. Cheers Soozisioux
  11. Hi have now received letter number two from the above. Dated 12th February but received today, the 18th Feb This informs me that it is a FORMAL DEMAND. The Pursuer is TT1 SPC for SP1 for an amount of £419.54. If I do not pay by the 19th Feb they will send the "heavies" round. There is a case number and client ref number on the letter and various ways I can pay. I have no idea what this debt is for. It's an amount that I don't owe anyone and what TTI SPC for SP1 stands for I have no idea. I have two debts outstanding but not for that amount. Both are statued barred (at least ten years if not more) and neither have CCA's for proof. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks
  12. I thought they might have. It's usually been around this time of year when they've been contacting me. Shame on them.
  13. Hi, it's been a while since I've had to refer to this site as I thought my dealings with DCA's were finished. Received a letter from the above today telling me to telephone them regarding an important matter, on an 0844 number. All that was referred to was a case number nothing else. Previously I had dealings with Robinson Way and Lowell but these were referred to Trading Standards as they had both failed to supply the necessary CCA and had continued harassing me. I eventually received letters from both those companies saying the matter was closed. I don't have any debts that I am aware of and wonder if PDCS are trying where Lowell and Rob Way failed. Any advice on what to do next would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Soozisioux:)
  14. Thanks for that - it's suprising what you learn! Cheers:p
  15. Thank you ever so much for that, I will contact TS immediately. From what I've read on this site about Robinson Way and dealings in the past it doesn't suprise me. Thanks once again. Soozisioux:)
  16. Hi, I've heard nothing further from Robinson Way but this morning received through the post what looked like a new pin number slip that you would get from the bank. On opening it, it contains the message "Fantastic Offer" ring 0870 243 2260 without delay to clear your debt off by paying only 25% of your balance which is just £95.50. This message doesn't say which company has sent it so I am presuming it must be from a DC because any reputable firm would have no problem putting their company name on the message. It gives me a reference number to quote and advises me that this is for "selected customers" only and the offer is available until 31st July 2008. I know it's an offence for the DC's to be sending anything out without their name on. Obviously I have no intentions of ringing this number but I wondered if anyone else has come across this. Presumably the best course of action is to ignore it. I can't contact Trading Standards as I cannot prove which DC has sent it. I have tried to google the number but it hasn't come up with anything - suprise suprise. Thanks if anyone can help me with this. Cheers Soozisiouz
  17. Thanks for that it's a brilliant letter. I'll get that in the post today, although last time I sent a recorded delivery letter the Post Office lost it and it wasn't delivered so i might choose a different option. Thanks once again Soozisioux
  18. Hi About six weeks ago I received a demand from Robinson Way so I sent them a CCA letter. A couple of weeks later I received a compliments slip from them saying that they were unable to provide the relevant document and infact returned my £1 Postal Order. In this morning's post I have received another demand/threatening letter from Robinson Way regarding this account. What do I do next please? They obviously can't find the signed agreement but are still threatening me. Any help would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks Soozisioux
  19. Hi, I know there are a lot of you with experience of Rob Way and wonder if anyone can help with this. I CCA'd Rob Way on the 1st May sent the letter Recorded Delivery. I've been checking on the Royal Mail website for confirmation of the delivery of this letter. Everytime I check it tells me the details are unavailable or the number is incorrect. I have phone Royal Mail after getting cut off twice then after speaking to a machine it put me through to a human and I had to repeat the details again. Top and bottom of it, Royal Mail tell me that there has been a delay delivering this letter and that they are very sorry and that I have to give them up until the 21st May to deliver the said 1st class Recorded Delivery letter! Has anyone else come across this? Is it Royal Mail being useless or Rob Way refusing to accept Recorded Delivery letters? I'd be grateful to hear from anyone because by my reckoning if the letter was delivered the next day i.e. 2nd May taking into consideration the bank holiday and weekends, the 21st May would be when Rob Way are in default. Thanks Siouxsie Sioux
  20. Thanks for the excellent letter 42man. I'll save me £1 and a trip to the Post Office too. I'll get the letter done now and posted today. Is it best to send it recorded delivery? Thanks once again for your help, don't know what I'd do without this forum. Cheers Soozisioux:p
  21. Hi, I think probably the last payment was about 5 years ago. A change in my circumstances means that I could no longer keep the payments up. I know its definitely over 4 years. Thanx:)
  22. Hi all, Going back 11 months now, I was being harassed by Lowells over a debt which probably begin in the early 1980's. After they failed to produce the required C.C.A. I was hopefully that they might give up. Well........I suppose they have, but now Robinson Way are trying to extract money in their usual friendly manner. I'm in the process of sending them a C.C.A. but does anyone know how many DCA's will try to recover this debt. Do they just go round in circles passing information between each other? Or am I to be harassed for eternity? Cheers Soozisiouz
  23. Hi, just been reading your thread. I nearly signed up to experian for the 1 months free trial. Boy am I glad I didn't after reading about your problems. I had no idea the DCA's and CRA's were in on it together. Good luck in your fight! Soozisioux
