1st Thanks to all who've created this site . Ive been giving a Chelsea grin by Smile that im trying to get rid of. I got my list of charges back after doing the data controller thing which are the commission, fees, debit interest and tax on credit.. Now im left a bit stumped with how to use the debit interest column as useful data for inputting into the advanced excel spreadsheet. i just need to make a reasonable attempt as if its not accurate then the bank has to provide a better calculation. So , do I have enough information from the data controller at Smile ? Do I write back asking for a full description of charges ( i.e a list of my bank statements ) as I dont have figures like my account balance given from Smile in the data theygave me back. Or can i use the debit interest figures - I didnt think so as surely these include interest on a partially legitimate portion of the overdraft. I just want the interest on the part that the unlawful charges. My claim is for about 750 pounds. Thank you for reading Alex
