NatWest sent me a letter the other day, saying that it wouldn't pay my £3.10 overdrawn amount, and that i would have to pay a bank charge. Is there any way i could get away without paying it? As a student £30 is a fair bit of money never to see again! Any help appreciated

Thanks for the reply. I have just gone overdrawn again [included in the said £197], which prompted me to this site. Would i have to pay this 35 pounds, considering that they usually add the charge on at the end of the month? Or would a better option be to simply say to them that i am filing for my charges to be refunded and that charging me would only add to their problems? Sorry if the questions seem inane; im a bit green in this kinda stuff, complainings never been my forte'. Thanks again

Hi my name's Ted. I just wanted to know if you guys thought that a £197 charge [including stat interest] was worth taking action against and if so will the banks will payout, as they may see it as frivilous in comparison to the more significant £5000 claims! Any word of advice? Cheers
