  1. My current account has remained dorment for over a year; it has £1500 agreed overdraft limit but now stands at £1916 - £416 wracked up in charges as well most of the £1500 is indeed charges. To my alarm from conducting a brief investigation I am paying £15 a month as it is a Platinum account which I cancelled well over a year ago. I claimed bank charges late last year and have had 2 letters stating they are waiting for the Court ruling. However, they are now demanding I pay the £416 immediately as this wasn't agreed but this is not actually money I've had to spend as much - gone over the limit due to their charges. What can I do?
  2. what do you think of my case? worth pursuing?
  3. I am £1900 overdrawn; £1500 authorised, £400 unauthorised. Received letter from their solicitor threatening to take me to court unless I pay £400 immediately in order to restore the account. This account hasn't been used for over a year because I am dispute with Lloyds; the £400 element is actually all charges so they in effect have caused it to topple beyond the authorised limit. Of the the total amount overdrawn, £1400 is charges has built up over 6 years. What is my next move? Apply to the Court with a breakdown of charges?
  4. £1500 is authorised - the remaining £400 is unauthorised but not by me actually using funds I don't have but by Lloyds charges month by month tipped the scales and now totals £1900. Any advice?
  5. Paid £10 and received 6 years' of statements. This was then followed by an initial letter requesting £1300 refund of charges. Lloyds sent me a letter explaining their "justification" in these charges - this was a few weeks ago. I have now received a 'frightening' letter from their Solicitors (Sechiari, Clark & Mitchell, based in Brighton) threatening me to inject funds immediately into my account to the tune of at least £400. My situation: £1900 overdrawn, £1300 of which is charges. Account not been used for over a year. Have since opened an account with a Building Society so have back-up account to use. Solicitors have sent letters before, threatening to take action to recover the full amount. I am currently unemployed... Any suggestions? Take them to Court?
