My debt with Egg (loan and credit card) has also recently been passed to Apex (even though I have been paying Egg £137 per month since 2006 to repay the debt). Apex have been constantly hassling me by phone but I am refusing to deal with them over the phone. However, I have just realised that my monthly standing orders are still being taken by Egg (even though they have confirmed by letter and phone that the account has been passed to Apex) and when I called Egg to ask about this today, they confirmed that they are still taking the money but it is being passed to Apex - is this legal - should I stop the standing orders to Egg ?- any advice much appreciated.
