    natwest claim

no response as yet? i have decided that as the receipt i have from the bank(which with hindsight i foolisly accepted) just says brown envelope addressed to the manager i will wait until the next deadline that natwest want at this time i feel i am well within my rights to go ahaead and claim through the courts however the thing that is bothering me now is if i do so will that be deemed to be acceptance of the timescales from now in other words will i have to start again at stage 2? and allow the full 28 days later before initiating a claim?

small update to this, i have today contacted the liason team who are insisting that they work from the 23rd of last month as that is the date they received the documentation and that the documents sent to the Branch are irrelavant as they never got them, this as i have previously said i got reciepts from the Branch for the letters, the Liason Dept say they now have until 24th july to process the claim where do i stand would you advise patience or legal action?

ok well i got the letters and the interest calculator from the MSE site but i added into the calculator exactly what each charge was for they have had the 14 days and many more if i include the letters handed into my Branch so i will ring them tomorrow and see what they say depending on the response i will initiate a claim via the small claims online system

    natwest claim

hi all now at the stage where i feel i need further advice, on april 11th i handed my initial claim letter and a breakdown of all charges to my local Branch, on May 4th i did the same with the Second letter i asked for a nd got a receipt for both letters which were addressed to the Manager after the 14 day wait i had heard nothing so contacted my Branch only to be given the customer liason teams number so i rang them and they had no record of any claims etc, so following advice given here i sent them copys of all previous letters with a covering note explaining the situation and asking them to resolve the issue within 14days, this was sent via recorded signed for deliv and was recd exactly 14 days ago today, so far i have heard nothing nada zip apart from another set of statements being sent to me 2 weeks ago which i was charged for! and never asked for advice please do i just go ahead and make a claim in the courts?
  5. hi i started the process of claiming back in March of this year got my statements collated the charges and used the letters from the moneysaving website, these letters and all other correspondance have been handed into my Branch and a reciept for the letters given it is now past the deadline for the second request so i phoned to enquire where we were up to and borehamwood are telling me they have no record of any claims at all mmm so i rang my branch and they informed me they had forwarded all letters so where do i stand? i have copies of all the letters so can i just send these straight to Borehamwood in one fell swoop or do i have to go back to stage 1? they have also informed me they will not look at any claims unless the orig statement sheets are enclosed which is also contrary to all i have read so far advice please
