LBL chelsea park investments
mark_h replied to mark_h's topic in Vehicle retailers and manufacturers
after reading through some of the other lbl threads . its seems the 5 weeks thing is a differred payment .. is that standard issue.. as i wasnt offered it as an option -
i took out a loan back in october with them. (1500) after they took the 5 weeks charge etc i had a bout 1300 or so ... at the time i was self employed and took the loan as i was having money troubles. and consequently i never paid . i just couldnt afford to live and pay the loan. then a few months ago i stumbled accross this section of the forum and it seems alot of people are having problems with them , a few with chelsea park investments .. now the bill of sale- i wasnt told anything about this . i did sign a few pieces of paper but i couldnt tell you what they were . they also came to my house to sign documents . is this normal what i find really strange is that when he gave me the check he also wrote out another one for 250 something and madee it payable to them selves... is that stanard practice? now i havent paid a single payment since i took out the loan other the the 5 weeks up front thingy. i havent recieved a default notice to this date. ive had no one visit me either.i havent even had a letter from them . 2 months ago i sent them a letter explaining that i had money problems and i wished to start paying the loan but i no longer had the payment book. and could then send me another. they did , i got it yesterday. before i start paying is there anything i should do. it seems like lbl are not doing it by the book in everyones case and i just wanna find out if . if they are doing everything right, be before i start to pay .. i also find it very odd that no one has tried to get the car or sent letters etc cheers

hi guys... im worrying a little now that the whole thing is going wrong because i didnt do my calculations correct... i originally stated i was claiming back £3499.78 in my previous letters to the bank and in moneyclaim.. i have recently been through everything again.. just incase i have to go to court and have found out that amount to be wrong the actuall amount is £3497.79. will this be a problem... i could say i was claiming for the two recorded letters i sent them . they cost a pound each
-
it has been acknowledged. so 26 days to go (hopefully) not heard a thing so far from halifax since the first offer after my first letter
-
nope... i will see if i can do that now

recieved my letter its deemed to be served on the 27th of june so i make that they have until the 11th of july to reply... what normally happens at this stage... i.e what will the bank do?
-
right guys a couple of questions.. i filled out the moneyclaim form last night . The following information relates to your claim: money owed by bank Issued Your claim request has been accepted. The Defendant has 14 days from the date they are served with the claim, to reply. is that 14 days from todays date... what happens when they reply?. how long will they get after that? what happens now and what do i do? many thanks mark
-
money claim form done today.. just waiting to hear now? assuming they do the norm how long will it be till they pay out?

Received a letter this morning for an offer of £250....what a joke!! Do I send a letter back now saying this offer is not acceptable and that the time is ticking and that I am still seeking the full amount, or words to that effect? Or..... Do I wait for the deadline which is Wednesday 31st May before sending the next letter? (It will be the last one before court). Cheers, Mark
-
sent the letter this morning.....have they got 14 days from now to reply
-

dpa sent on the 24th of april, they have recieved it as i sent it by recorded and have a sig.... so my question is . should i have had a letter back by now or will they hang it out the whole 40 days
-
and roughly how many have won.. and how come they actually lost cheers for the help
-
i sent the letter for the Data Protection Act on monday the 24th of april, i dont have all my statements, but from the ones i do have i think the total amount to be around 3k. So i think the full amount to be around 4k... but we will see the company i used to work for where allways late payers hence the massive amount of charges.... has anyone actually lost a claim yet?
