  1. Than you for your reply Happy, I too hope to be feeling the same when hopefully my hard earned cash is returned. Sadly we don't have a HFC bank where I live but I will certainly endeavour to follow your advice. Din x

  4. Hello all, I'm about to send my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) request to HFC Bank but would welcome any help on a couple of matters before I do . Firstly I'm assuming we just change the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) template letter to be relevant for credit cards as I can't seem to find a template relating to credit cards! Secondly, I have two credit cards with HFC, both being Beneficial Open University Cards, the trouble is that one is in my old married name and the second in a new name that I had changed by deed poll. However they are both registered to the same address, which is my current one. I guess it's best to re claim the charges independantly as my two surnames may confuse them? Any help would be really helpful as I'm keen to get started after digesting all the relevant info on the site. Thank You, Din

  7. Hello All, I have seen all the publicity on the tv about bank charges and have decided to join the throng! I am about to digest the FAQ section before launching my claim against HFC with whom I have two credit cards. I will start my thread as soon as I have done this and keep everyone advised. Do I start the thread as soon as I send off this S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) thing which was mentioned on the telly? Some friends who know about this site say HFC are tough cookies and I have to admit at being knock kneed at the prospect of court action but I'm keeping my fingers crossed it wont quite come to that. Nice to speak to you all, Din
