  1. hi, thanks for your posts im sure they will be of some use. im aware of someone having three pcn's quashed in a row on the same road, due to the fact the markings are incorrect. on that road in particular people park there knowing they can still get away with it. i have no doubt in my mind this will be ample to get my pcn quashed also. regards.
  2. hi can anyone help ?? just recieved a pcn, going to dispute at as there's no t bar at either end of the single yellow line, plus there are breaks in the line. its my understanding there should be one continuious yellow line with no breaks in the line, and the t bar should be a definate 90 degree angle clearly set out. can someone supply me with a template letter to send them. thanks !!
  3. Please can anyone help on the previous post? Thanks in advance.
  4. Hi all, Please can someone advise me I think I may have made a mistake. I stayed up until after 12.00 last night to submit the judgement by default as I had not heard anything from NW and the 28 days had passed. I clicked on to the Judgement by Default on Moneyclaim but did not go any further (I did not complete it or submit). I had read posts suggesting that it may be a good idea to give them another chance to pay in full before submitting the Judgement by default. Nationwide are also likely to put in a defence at the last moment anyway. So I changed my mind and I emailed Mr Bacon and Eversheds with the following letter: Dear Mr Bacon, Claim Number xxxx You have not filed a defence for claim number xxxxxx at the County Court, and the time to file a defence has now passed and judgement in default can be granted. I am writing to give you one final opportunity to make full payment of £xxxx and court costs. If I have not received payment in full by 4pm 9 th July 2007 I will file for Judgment in Default/apply for a warrant of execution. Yours sincerely Tonight I have recieved a cheque for less than half of the amount plus interest and costs. They say that the onus is on me to provide a breakdown of costs (have'nt I done this already !? a number of times, and certainly at court stage). If so I must post them yet again to Farnsby Street, Nationwide? I have also looked on Moneyclaim and it says that the status is 'halted'? What does this mean have I made a mistake by not going any further with the default option.:-| What or who should I contact first? Please help
  5. Many thanks both. As I messed up with the first letter (sending the charges table with 8% interest), I wonder if you can help with this. I really must get this right. I am trying to get my charges back from Barclays (closed account), Nationwide and another 2 closed joint Nationwide accounts. I have sent the 1st letter out to all of the above (incorrectly sending the 8% table!!! DAMN!). I feel daft now! I am looking for the ultimate 2nd letter, where I threaten court action. I assume that I won't be mentioning the 8% interest unless it comes to legal action? There are so many templates and I want to get it right this time! Also reading other threads, the legal forms and terminology sounds really complex and involved. Please dont get me wrong, I am not frightened of a little hard work for the rewards, but hope I dont mess it up!! Anyway thanks for your help and I will continue to read other posts with great interest.
  6. Hello all, I have been fixed to this site for a few weeks now - it's fab!. Can you help, I am worried. I have sent off the charges with statutory interest table in my very first request for payment to all the below bank accounts? Since reading other threads, it suggests NOT to do this. However, it does leave a space to add it in on most prelim letters? Barclays £1,090 + Statutory interest Nationwide £695.50 Nationwide joint £1,951.50 Nationwide joint £280.00 Please help I am confused. Many thanks in advance.
