Well done! before reading the thread, (which was inspiring btw), I would have been mortified to admit how much I had been charged over the years. I thought I was the only one! Most people I know would be horrified and judgemental about it. :o Haven't yet calculated how much I will be claiming, am just about to send off SAR to HBOS.

Will follow your progress with others, your creditors seen to be same as me, next biggest for me will be Lloyds TSB too.

I joined the Forum a while back, read all the tutorials and stuff, got really enthused, and then done nothing. I got nervous because of the risk of the bank closing my account. I didn't want the hassle...... but that was then:!:

I am about to send SAR letter to my main bank (Halifax Bank of Scotland) and will report progress. And of course, ask for any help I may need during the process:confused:
