  5. I understand that but it just is to confusing I haven't got a clue how to work the interest out and don't know where to start. I work full time on shifts and rarely get anytime to myself and dont particulary want to sit down and get stressed out over this. Is it just a case of putting the figures into a spreadsheet ? i'm sure I could work that out. It's just when I start going through the threads I just get lost and stressed. :???:
  6. enaid... I'm with you this interest thing is getting confusing, plus I think they will tend to settle for the £626 quicker than the amount plus interest.
  7. Lol yeah I think i'll go for the 8% Anyway what is the 34% for and is that the exact figure (is it 34%) I would appreciate if you can link to the spreadsheets.
  8. Right i've done my schedule of charges, and I've been seeing in other threads people have been claiming back interest. Can I claim interest and if so which one the 8% or the 34%. Plus how the hell do you work it out.:-| Thanks in advance

  13. Today is the day I decided to take action for all them nasty charges that I have paid on my two bank accounts that I have held with Barclays for over six years. I imagine the amount that I have been "fined" is running into the 000's as I used to be self employed. I will post updates here with how I get on throughout the process. Day 1 Phoned Barclays and spoke to a helpful lady called Amy. I asked that I could have all statements for both accounts running back six years. She told me that she would go back to January 2001 to make sure I got everything covered. I asked if there was a fee and she told me that as I was disputing bank charges she would waiver the fee !! (which would normally be £5 per account) She said the only downside is that it should normally take 6 days for my request to come through but as of recent demand has shot through the roof it could take up to three weeks !!! The waiting game begins
