Brilliant site. Thank you for the well presented information and your assistance with informing the community of their rights and how they should procede to action. I used to have my own small business - but of course ocassionally it took too long for my customers to pay and I ended up paying a large amount of bank fees. I gave up the business earlier this year. I was a sole trader. I have 3 accounts with Barclays one is personal, one is for the business and one is a joint account with my wife. I think in some months I have been charged £100+ on each of them. I have found it a vicious circle impossible to escape. If these excessive charges had never been levied I would have been £1000s of pounds in credit, but I have been driven to the point of desparation and never seem to make any headway. £300 a month would have been a nice contribution to a pension. All I have to show for my years of hard work is 3 overdrafts. I am preparing to send my DPA letter today and I am absolutely prepared to take this as far as I have to, and I thank you all for your inspiration. I have one question. Do you think I should send one letter to cover all three accounts or should I send three letters and if I send one letter should the fee be £30 for three accounts or would the £10 cover all three?
