  4. I am awaiting Cheque too Mazza, kinda need closure here this has took ages but will be worth it when cheque lands. Paul q said it could be up to 2 weeks but a few other threads advise that they speak with fork tongue after settlement fingers crossed (need a holiday) by the way congratulations and i hope you get your finances sorted for the long term!!

  5. Have Agreed to settle with barclays (the day before my court date) so i should be jumping for Joy!! but i will have to postpone celebrations untiliactually get a cheque as they seem to speak with fork tongue on the payment timescale issue!!

THANKS TO ALL WO HELPED ESPECIALLY CHLOEJANE AND SAINTLY I WILL BE MAKING A DONATION THROUGH PAYPAL AS SOON AS I GET PAID OUT.

  6. I believe you can alter your claim at some point but there may be a charge, if no-one can advise you then you should ring the court they will direct you. I made the mistake of entering the amount of charges as the figure i was claiming rather than the charges plus interest in my mcol claim i didn,t realise until now and i am in court on friday, so i guess it,s too late for me. Best of luck if in doubt ring court also ring barclays litigation whenever you hav an excuse they seem prone to settle in full if you get some dialogue going.

  7. Hi Everyone hope someone can give me a bit of advice, i have a court date for friday with barclays and have just recieved an offer. The offer says it is for the full amount with interest and court costs. However the total is in my view wrong. It is the total i had asked for in my mcol claim but i had not added the interest onto the figure although i did mention the interest in my particulars. I thought the figure for court was the amount i was deprived of and interest was added later.

    Any advice appreciated.

  8. Thats all o.k as far as i can see so in all correspondence from now ask for the interest. The claim itself is for under 5k and the interest does not matter, to the court your claim is still under 5k.

if you want to calculate the interest there is a spreadsheet available on here that does all calculations for you, i will find out where it is and get back to you tomorrow . (goin 2 bed now) Goodnight

  9. I was in a very similar position, i had to estimate at first then got a true figure, have you added interest or reservered the right to ask for it at a later date? i sounds like mcol are transfering to your local court if thats the case you will be informed and sent the standard bank defence, don,t worry you are still on track just read through the step by step guide on this site thngs will become clearer. i am just a bit ahead of you i have court date and am preparing my court bundle. You have to sit and wat now till you get a date but use the time to read though this site also give barclays a ring now and again they may just settle

Best of luck (not that you will need it)
