  4. Whoa!! So there is to be a test case starting tomorrow!! anybody got any idea how this could affect me i have agreed settlement with barclays and i am waiting impatiently for a cheque, i am hoping that the acceptance letter is in fact a contract that cannot be affected!! also i was planning to go beyond 6 yrs is that plan dead or alive?? and how long is the test case expected to last??: answers on a postcard to (no scrub that postal strike!!) a message on my thread will suffice cheers pat
  5. I am still in the same position Mazza, i can't get them to answer the phone to even confirm they are sending a cheque as i no longer have an account!!!
  6. I am awaiting Cheque too Mazza, kinda need closure here this has took ages but will be worth it when cheque lands. Paul q said it could be up to 2 weeks but a few other threads advise that they speak with fork tongue after settlement fingers crossed (need a holiday) by the way congratulations and i hope you get your finances sorted for the long term!!

  8. Have Agreed to settle with barclays (the day before my court date) so i should be jumping for Joy!! but i will have to postpone celebrations untiliactually get a cheque as they seem to speak with fork tongue on the payment timescale issue!! THANKS TO ALL WO HELPED ESPECIALLY CHLOEJANE AND SAINTLY I WILL BE MAKING A DONATION THROUGH PAYPAL AS SOON AS I GET PAID OUT.
  9. anybody actually recieved a cheque from b,s without hassle??
  10. I believe you can alter your claim at some point but there may be a charge, if no-one can advise you then you should ring the court they will direct you. I made the mistake of entering the amount of charges as the figure i was claiming rather than the charges plus interest in my mcol claim i didn,t realise until now and i am in court on friday, so i guess it,s too late for me. Best of luck if in doubt ring court also ring barclays litigation whenever you hav an excuse they seem prone to settle in full if you get some dialogue going.
  11. Well it looks like i am not getting any suggestions so i better settle for what was offered cheers pat
  12. Hi Everyone hope someone can give me a bit of advice, i have a court date for friday with barclays and have just recieved an offer. The offer says it is for the full amount with interest and court costs. However the total is in my view wrong. It is the total i had asked for in my mcol claim but i had not added the interest onto the figure although i did mention the interest in my particulars. I thought the figure for court was the amount i was deprived of and interest was added later. Any advice appreciated. pat
