Hi there, hope everyone is well. I've just joined to today as I thought I might need some extra help in claiming my charges back and if I can help anyone else in turn then that would be ace too!! Basically I'm 26, live in Rochdale near Manchester, just moved back after living in Leeds for 6yrs during after I went to Uni there. I had a steady income whilst at Uni and after graduation and after quitting my job in December 2006 to move back home I have been unemployed and living off my savings account. I'm glad to say I start my new and exciting job on monday 16th April, so all is once again good in that department. I'm currently claiming back my charges from Lloyds TSB and from what I've read so far, I might be in for a fight!!! I've banked with Lloyds since I was 16 and also have an account with Natwest, which I shall use as my 'parachute' account. Right, just wanted to say hi to everyone and thanks to those of you who offer advice and take time out to read peoples problems free of charge. I'm currently awaiting my statements at the moment after my initial letter, a response granting my statements but rejecting my claim and a second leter by me clarifying what action I will take if my claim isnt honoured.
