  2. Good luck, i need to find the time to do this. My problem is i am now very aware the course is not very good and their so called course materials is not worth the paper it's written on. I would like to attend the course and get it over and done with, but i don't want to or see why i have to pay £50 re-booking fee!!!! for what? But every time i am going to phone i get really angry so i have decided to get true call and record all the calls. I will let you know how i get on GRRRRRRRRR
  3. I too am having a big Problem with this company. I went ahead and signed up to the 3 day programme, which included a Tigrent (crap Package about propery investments books and CDs) a planning strategy phone call ( worth £300 and you get to bring a friend. The course was meant to take place in October at a time i would be on holiday. I told them this and they said it was not a problem as they would book me on the next 3 day programme. I called a few days after to ensure i would be booked on the next course. On my return i called to find out the date of the next programme as i was a little concerned that one would book one on a programme of which one does not no the date. It took a few phone calls as the person (female in question always appears to be on the phone or just popped out of the office, and NO one in the office would take a message. On the 23 November i received an e-mail from them saying 1 week to go Rich dad poor dad 3 day course and a text message telling me to arrange a apointment with the Planning Strategy person. I called the office to tell them that i would be moving on that day so i could not attend and would like to know future dates so i could arrange a suitable time to attend. Much of the same thing happened, you mentioned Rich Dad Poor dad they would ask you what it was regarding, you'd say change booking and the (person) was always not availalble and was told to call back. You were not given the oppertunity to to leave a message as you were told "S---y or D----r were the only people who could take bookings. On the morning of the 30 Nov 2012 when the programme was to start i managed to get through and explained that i could not attend and had been trying every since i received notification on 23 Nov and the problems of getting through. I explained that i was moving this morning and did not want a refund but to re-schedule. The girl was very rude as she said i would need to pay a further £50 re-booking fee because it was less than ten days and i should look at the contract i signed. I explained that YOU had only informed me of the date on the 23 November 2012 and i had been calling almost every day, i could not leave a message and no one would take my name or allow me to leave a message. After a big arguement she just kept referring to the contract, the contract and told me to write an e-mail. I have wirtten an e-mail and have phone again only for HER to balme me saying that i must be the only one who did not receive the e-mail out of 100 people and i had to pay £50.00. I want my money back How can i take them to court to claim my money back i hate this company!!!!!! It IS A [problem]!!!
  4. Yes you right, you see one should not be getting parking tickets in their zone, especially when you have paid for a valid permit. As you saw all both signage is exactly the same and throughout the zone area. I did not even know they allocated business permits in the middle of a residential street. And apparently they are actually dual use i asume that business permit holders can park there during the time 10-2pm then the usual confusion regarding the match day and bank holidays. From where i approached the road there was a van parked obstructing the signage in question, when i parked and looked over the road i saw the residential sign and as i walked away i saw the other residential sign on the other side of the road. I think i migh be able to get one ticket waviered....time can only tell....

  7. Help Please advice? I got a parking ticket yesterday in Islington For parked in a permit space without displaying a valid permit. The thing is where i parked is controlled parking mainly residential parking and i have a residential parking permit for that particular Zone. Before i parked i checked to ensure that i had parked in the correct place as some of the road is pay and display only. I looked at the sign nearest to me which had the correnct zone, i also looked over the road at the signage and it also had the same sign indicating the correct zone. :D When i returned to my car i had a parking ticket. I was suprised and thought it was an oversight and wote to the council explaining such, i took photographs of my permit as proof to show i did have a valid permit. After i e-mailed it still bothered me so to ensure i Googled street view to see if i did do any thing wrong. All the signs looked the same and "appeared" to be residential parking and agreed that it might have been a mistake. Toady i parked in the same place and again i looked at all the surrounding signage and once again residential parking and had the stated zone. I returned to my car and found another ticket, this time i was with a friend and was completly perplexed, so we walked up and down the road insepecting all of the signs and they all looked the same and said the same thing. Now just to make sure i was not mad we walked up to each sign again and read out loud each sign twice each taking turns. now only after 10 mins did we realise that the bay that i had parked in was business Permits and not residential. now there is no way you could differentiate between them appart from that one word. All the signs look exactly the same No different colour etc. I have got 2 parking tickets costing £120 each is there anything i can do to get these tickest written off it is and was is a genuine mistake? Help!!!!!
  8. Mybe my only hope is pray! the permit/voucher did not drop on the floor, it was placed in clear view on the flat dash (i have a Renualt Clio) what they are saying is the warden couldn't seen the arrival time, because when i closed the door, wind blew the permit/voucher foward silghtly and that part was obscured by the black tint from the windscreen. (I do remember that it was a very windy day in question as after several attemps of trying to close the door the damn permit blow of on the floor and i picked it up and had to repeat the task, untill finally waiting for the wind to stop. Now because i did not see a ticket when i arrived, i didn't see there was a problem.
  9. Need help, I received a Notice to owner for not correctly displaying a visitors permit. The turth is i did corectly display a valid permit and there was never a ticket on the car when i left my friends house. But some weeks later i have received the notice. From the photographice evidence they sent it seems the bottom part of the arrival time has slid under the black tint on the windscreen and it shows a ticket packet placed on the top of the windscreen which must have blown off as it was not supported by the wipper as it normally is and was a very windy day. I have tried to explain to them that unbeknoen to me as i shut the door of the car wind must have caused the permit to have moved. I am now going for an appeal to justify an act of God! Normally i keep the permit for a week or two before i discard them. However on this occastion as i had a valid permit and there was no ticket on my car i discarded the permit and cannot prove wether it was a 3 hour or 30min permit. I am going for Appeal in April 2008. Can anyone help?
