Hi thanks for the prompt reply Charges for late payment have doubled since 2004 Jan 2004-Aug 2004 £10 x2 March 2005 £15x2 Sept 2005-Feb2006-£20x3 total £110 In addition to paying £20 for a £19 owed payment,Tesco stopped my card before writing to tell me I was in arrears of the payment. Then they reduced my credit limit to £400. When I tried to pay immediately through internet transfer found that it takes 4-6 working days! for them to receive my money which is debited from my current account immediately. I rang customer services to explain what had happened and told them that the way they handled my account was far from customer friendly, and could they take off the late payment fee. I was told £9,£19,£90 or £900 it didn't matter and no they wouldn't take of the late payment fee. As soon as I have paid off my debt I shall cut up the card.

Tesco credit card has been charging me £20 for a late payment fee. Since 2004 I have had 7 of these charges added to my account. The total sum amounts to £110. Is it possible to reclaim these amounts back from Tesco? Jane Parkin
