I made a mistake on the prelim letter, and corrected it on the second stage letter (only by 4 pounds) I am a bit concerned that this will affect my claim. I have now received a letter from the bank saying that they are not going to settle the claim (7 days after sending). I feel slightly anxious now and am not sure what to do. Do I wait till the fourteen day deadline and then go to court? or do I go now? Or do I give up because of the mistake? PLEASE HELP!!! I'm not sure whether we could afford to loose in court as well.

I have had the same letter today, I am wondering the same thing. The other paragraph that concerns me is the one where they will provide me with details of the financial Ombudsman service so they can consider the complaint independently. ?????
