Hi, I have a question. I am starting my claim against Halifax PLC today. I have all my Statements to hand. I am not clear wether I should deduct £12.00 from each charge figure? I understand that £12.00 is the amount they were legally entitled to charge me. I don't want to make a mistake at the first fence PS: I really hope to stick it to Halifax because their actions have caused me to go into debt freefall - If I get my charges back I will also get my life back! Best regards Deb

I am reclaiming 6 years bank charchges from Halifax PLC - because of there actions I am in a debt spiral , but I have decided that It's time to fight back. If I get my charges back I could be debt free I have one question - when I am working out what I am owed, Should I deduct the £12.00, which I understand is the maximum they should have charged? I am not sure about this. Grateful for anybodies help Deb
