  1. Hi all, Just to let you know that I've received a cheque from Abbey and happily donated to this site a %age of the refund. If it wasn't for this site, I wouldn't even dream about claiming any Mortgage Exite Fee back. Thank you all for your input and help. Kind regards Halime
  2. Hi Dax, The links in your post are not working!! How to reclaim mortgage exit fees Any ideas why? Thanks Halime
  3. Hi Jadsia, Copy, paste and modify the following letter. Ot worked for me and I've got my monet back. You need to provide original if you have or photcopies of the valid permits. /* PCN Processing Office London Borough of Camden PO Box 20217 London NW1 9GH Dear Sir/Madam Re: Penalty Charge Notice & Clamp/Removal Fee I have been issued the above Penalty Charge on Thursday, 23 June at 11:07 while my wife’s car, registration , was parked on and I am appealing against it for the reasons I’ve outlined below. I had a valid Resident’s Parking Permit for the vehicle ,expiry date 22 June 2006 The permit was renewed at Hampstead office on 26 May 2005 that can be verified by your office and was paid for by Visa. I trust you take the evidence into consideration and refund the parking/clamping fees I have incurred as a result. Yours faithfully */ All th ebest Halime
  4. Hi, I can confirm to you that I have successfully appealed and claimed my money back for the parking tickets that were issued to me legally but I had to prove that I had valid residents parking permit. IN one case, I've received a ticket immediately the very next day when my parking permit ran out. i.e. Parking permit ran out on 15th Feb, I was issued a ticket on 16th Feb 10:00 befor eI ad even woken up! (I work late hours you see). However, I had renewed my residents permit and fully paid for it at least a month ago but didn't have time to switch the permits. I was even clamped! So, if you have the paperwork proving that you had valid permits, you'll get your money back. All the best Halime

  6. Is there anyone out there who can give me step by step instructions on how to claim my mortgage exit fee from Abbey National? 1. I had my mortgage with Abbey over 10 years and never seen any exit fees in my original mortgage deal. 2. During these 10 years, I've moved my mortgage to a "Flexible Mortgage" where I had a reserve account and coul dpay more/less with no fees but didn't think that an exit fee existed. 3. I've moved from Abbey to RBS where Abbey charged me about £250.00 exit fee and thi swas a shock to me as after 10+ years you would expect that there would be no such fees, may be I am too naive. Your help is much appreciated. Kind regards Halime
  7. Hello CAG members.. I coul dnever believe that such a site existed and it took me such a long time to find out about it!! Looks like there is a lot going on here and I for one, will definitely donate 10% of my claims against the banks. If it's not for this site, we would never be able to claim our fees back anyway... Glad to be on-board.
