I just had a paranoid thought. What if SC&M are reading this thread.

I don't have their number. Steve's taken the court papers.

I spoke to him briefly. Explained they would be calling him. He said his phone did ring but as he was still driving he couldn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. Then I got off the line in case they were calling back.

ten o'clock. He could be walking through the court doors now. with his phone off.

Still nothing. I can't bear this. I'm gonna check account again.

Thank God. OOooooo. It's exciting.

Case is at 10.00am. but it is part of a block booking so he could be called anytime.

Just spoke to [problem] again. They wanted his mobile number as they can't discuss case with me. I explain that he is still driving and when he arrives he will have his phone off as he is in court. They are leaving him a message.....

I called the court this morning. No contact from ****. I called **** to ask what their position was. I got the impression that our case was lost as they couldn't find the paperwork. I left a number for them to call back.

OK. I've got butterflies now. Steve has left for court. He has a basic script, a colour coded system relating relevant cases to each point he is arguing, an impressive folder, a posh pen and butt cheeks clenched tighter than ever before! Everything to prove the case is in his witness statement so if he could just read from that if he had to. Couldn't he? Bless my man. Feels like I've sent him to war with a water pistol. He's much braver than I am.

Thanks Dave. This link helps to explain the process of the arguement. I did send in the bundle 2 weeks ago. I'm just tidying up our copy. Highlighting bits, etc I'm putting it all in an impressive looking folder and I've even bought a posh pen!

just cooked dinner. Still nothing. I don't want to be a misery but it's looking a bit desperate now. The chances of boyfriend even reading all the bundle before tomorrow are slim, never mind understanding the arguements! He's a chef and he doesn't finish til about 10.30pm. We may as well be sending a chimp before the judge.

I'm going to pick up the big one from school, then I'm taking all the kids to town to get ink, paper,folders, etc just in case i have to spend this evening putting together a more proffessional looking bundle for court tomorrow. It's all stuffed in a scruffy envelope at the mo. I need 2 more copies of everything, in case we are proving points tomorrow, don't I. I'll check the bank in town again just in case. If it's in I won't be cooking tea tonight!!

No, not yet. I've just checked the bank. Still nothing. I've phoned SC&M. I gave them the case number and reminded them that they are due in court tomorrow. They said they would make a note of it. I called the court and they said SC&M still haven't submitted a bundle therefore evidence other than their defence is inadmissable. However we still have to appear before the judge and present our case. I don't have anyone to watch the kids so my partner is going it alone. If we don't get a sympathetic judge then we've lost. And a day's wages on top. I'm very upset at the moment. please don't let this all have been for nothing. It's not as straight forward as Martin Lewis said..... ....I'm going to check the bank again.
